- Details
- Contract of carriage limits kennel and pet to 70 POUNDS (31.5 KG) and three kennels per Hawaiian flight. Pets are not transferred to other carriers.14
- Breed limits
- Baggage compartment pets are subject to breed restrictions. The contract of carriage requires a second liability release for snub nose pets in baggage.14
- Heat and seasonal limits
- Contract of carriage bars baggage pets April 15 through October 15 to or from SJC, SMF, LAS and PHX, and above 85F/29C or below 45F/7C.4

- Book the passenger ticket on hawaiianairlines.com or alaskaair.com, then chat or call to reserve space for the pet.1
- Emotional support animals
- Not accepted as service animals. They can travel as pets under the pet rules.3
